FORECAST
A front moving into the western side of the country will sweep across the nation and bring snow and rain to many cities. This front is looking to move in Wednesday night into California bringing heavy rain and snow to the west. Thursday night, the snow and rain spread more inland bringing plenty of moisture to Montana and down to Arizona. Friday afternoon this system shifts more to the east, bringing snow, wintry weather and rain from the upper Midwest to the south.   SNAPSHOTS
Saturday and Sunday, this system settles into the east coast. Snow will be expected anywhere from Maine to Tennessee. Icy conditions might be possible for the areas shaded in pink so expect hazardous travel conditions for the weekend. The southeast will stick to rain due to temperatures being too warm for snow.   A LOOK AHEAD
