Severe Storms for the Gulf Coast Wednesday

A strong cold front sweeping across the Southeast will provide showers and storms for the Gulf Coast today and early Thursday.  Some storms could be severe with the risk of tornadoes and damaging winds.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

A slight risk of severe weather has been added from Southeast Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle for the risk of damaging winds and tornadoes.  A slight risk means scattered severe storms will be possible.  Cities like New Orleans, Gulfport and Mobile will need to be weather alert from Wednesday afternoon and through the evening.

The main severe weather risks will tornadoes and damaging winds.  

Forecast
