Severe Storms in the Forecast for Alabama and Georgia Monday

A cold front sweeping across the Southern United States will bring more severe storms chances today to areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.  Large hail and damaging winds will be the main weather risks, but some rotation will be possible for a few tornadoes as well.

Severe Outlook

A Slight risk of severe weather has been issued for areas of Alabama and Georgia.  This does include Montgomery and Atlanta.  All modes of severe weather will be in play today.

Severe Risks

All types of severe weather will be in the forecast.  This means damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes.  You will be want to be weather alert over these areas this afternoon and evening.  Some areas could see hail over 2" in diameter.
