A strong cold front will drive south on Sunday and bring a chance for severe storms from Colorado to the Mississippi River Valley. The risk is isolated right now, but that could chance as models get a better hold of things.
Storms take a similar timeline to Saturday's threat. They start as isolated cells in the afternoon but will form more into clusters by the evening. Some of these storms can hold their strength into the overnight hours.
On Monday, the isolated severe weather risk drops down into the Big Bend of Texas and SE New Mexico. The biggest threat looks like again wind and hail.
