Storms Possible for Black Friday in the South

Parts of the south could see some showers and storms for Black Friday.  If you plan of looking for those amazing deals in cities like Houston, Little Rock or New Orleans, you will want to have the umbrella handy.  Luckily, we are not looking at a risk of severe with this particular set-up and even the rainfall overall shouldn't leading to a flash flooding issue.  Here is the very latest:

Severe Outlook

The severe weather risk will be very low, but from East Texas to the Florida Panhandle showers and storms will be possible.

Forecast

A trough of low pressure will push across Oklahoma and eastern Texas, bringing a few downpours in the afternoon and evening. As humidity builds, storms will start to fire along the Gulf of Mexico coastline throughout the day. A low pressure center moving northward through the Gulf Friday evening into the weekend, the chance for thunderstorms will increase.

Rainfall

Most areas should stay below a half inch of rainfall through Friday night.  Keep on checking for more updates on WeatherNation.
