Strong Storms Possible for the Northwest Thursday and Friday

We have been talking about record highs in the Northwest over the past few days, but now that warm and humid weather will help lead to a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms.  Parts of Oregon and California will have a chance Thursday and Oregon and Idaho will have a chance on Friday.

Severe Outlook

Marginal risk of severe weather for the cities of Eugene and Medford in central parts of Oregon with the potential for large hail and damaging winds.   On Friday that Marginal risk will move east into Burns, Baker City and Boise.  A similar risk will be possible on Friday with a threat of large hail and damaging winds.  We can't completely rule out an isolated tornado, but hail and winds will be the highest weather risk.   Keep it tuned to WeatherNation for more updates on what is happening in the Northwest.   Meteorologist Patrick Crawford
