Strong mid and upper level energy will be setting up over the Eastern New Mexico and West Texas today.  There should be enough energy available to bring the risk of large hail, damaging winds and even some tornadoes.  Here is the very latest.

Severe Outlook

  A slight risk of severe weather has been issued for today by the Storm Prediction Center.  This means scattered severe storms for cities like Fort Stockton, Odessa and Lubbock.

Severe Risks

All modes of severe weather will come into play today.  Some areas of New Mexico and Texas could see the worst weather this afternoon and evening.  If you live in these areas, please be weather prepared.
