Hurricane Walaka is currently a category 4 hurricane. Winds are around 155 mph, and it is continuing on its north track at 10 mph. Walaka will stay on the strong side until Friday morning where it will weaken to a category 1 hurricane. Although Walaka is staying to the west of the Hawaiian islands, it will still have an impact on Hawaii. Wave heights will increase over the next couple of days, and rain from the outskirts of the storm could hit the western islands of Hawaii.
