The same system that brought another round of beneficial snowfall in the Sierra Nevada is now in the Four Corners. The upper level energy is producing some modest snow showers in the mountain areas of Utah and Colorado! Snow totals have been on the lighter side anywhere between 4-6".
Winter alerts are in effect for the Wasatch Range and the Western Rockies of Colorado. Some of the higher peaks run the chance of seeing up to 2' of snow, but that number won't be widespread. After midnight, the alerts will expire and much of snow should be winding down! We could see some pop up rain showers and snow showers as another disturbance quickly moves in on Sunday.
Through Monday, we could some high mountain peaks picking up an additional six plus inches of snow.
