As the arctic air mass holds a tight grip on the Upper Midwest, areas felt All-Time record cold temperatures this morning. In Moline, IL the low dropped to a shivering -33 degrees. Brrrr!     Another area that felt the chill this morning was Cedar Rapids, IA. The overnight low fell to -30 degrees, beating the previous All-Time record low of -29 in 2009.   The good news is that a warming trend is in the forecast over the next 48 hours as high pressure will slowly work it's way into the region. Areas will remain cold Thursday night, with temperatures gradually warming to at or above average by the end of the weekend. For WeatherNation, I'm meteorologist Greg Rule.
