Autumn Outlook Issued from the Climate Prediction Center

NOAA's Climate Prediction Center recently issued their outlook for the Autumn months. Warmer than normal temperatures are favored in all of the nation, especially the Southwest and Northwest. Wetter than average weather is expected from September through November from the Northern Plains to the Southwest and in the Southeast and Middle Atlantic. https://twitter.com/NWSCPC/status/1162044315813552128 Isolated areas of drought development or continuation are possible in a few areas, most notably in the Southern Plains and Northwest. https://twitter.com/NWSCPC/status/1162044662606991360 With El Nino dissipating, water temperatures in the Pacific Ocean are not expected to influence circulation patterns during this forecast.
