Rainfall totals have been quite high over the last 48 hours with some cities receiving close to 6 inches of rain!

Forecast

Showers and storms will continue for the Sunshine State throughout the day, today.  Heavy rain will be likely across the state. Due to the amount of rain we've already seen and the ground already being saturated, any rain we see today will not be able to be soaked up quickly and this could lead to flooding. The rain is looking to move in during the later part of the morning and become more widespread during the afternoon. After today, much of the rain will move out leaving us will drier conditions for the second half of the week.

Rainfall Potential

Over the next 24 hours, another additional 5 inches of rain might be possible. Stay safe and remember to never drive through flooded roadways.
