Heavy Rain for the Northwest Late In The Week

Several weather systems will bring rain chances to the Northwest this week, especially after this coming up Wednesday.  Some areas in western Washington could see over 4 inches of rain through the weekend.  Here is the very latest.

Rainfall Forecast

Here you can see through next Saturday we could see a solid 1 to 4 inches of rainfall.  This will likely lead to areas of flash flooding.  Stay tuned for increasing flood alert chances later this week.

Forecast

Here is a look at some Northwestern cities that will see rain in the forecast.  The closer to the coast, the higher rainfall accumulation in the forecast.  So areas like Seattle and Portland will see rain start Wednesday and it could be rainy through the weekend and into early next week.
