Take a look at all of these record lows that we saw in just a few parts of the Midwest on Monday morning: Viewed a different way, take a look at all of these record lows that covered the United States this morning, via weather website coolwx.com:      This came from a strong cold front that's still sliding south and east through the Gulf Coast states, leading to heavy rain and flooding in parts of Texas. Temperatures moderate in most of the Midwest and the Rockies the rest of this week, but not after an incredible mid-October cold snap that produced some of the coldest fall temperatures in a long while in spots.   But, warmer days are (gratefully) ahead.
