By now, the South is no stranger to warmer weather, as temperatures have been above average for over a week. More records fell on Sunday for cities like Charlotte, North Carolina, and Greer, South Carolina. Cooler air will funnel in, but by Midweek, portions of the Gulf and Florida have the potential for more record warmth.

The next round of record temps will be on Wednesday - Thursday. Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and southern Georgia all have the potential to see records broken!

SOUTHEAST

Not everyone will see the warm air, but the southerly flow will bring warm air to cities like New Orleans and Montgomery, Alabama. Portions of the southeast can see temps 10°-15° above average!

SOUTHERN PLAINS

On Wednesday, while a cold front is bringing below-average temps to cities like Little Rock and Oklahoma City, the warmer air along the gulf will bring temps in the upper 70s to 80 for San Antonio, Houston, and Jackson, MS.
