A squall line raced across the South Saturday evening into Sunday morning, bringing down trees with strong winds and embedded tornadoes. At least one home in Tennessee suffered extensive damage to its roof as the tornado moved through.

Wind damage was extensive across the south while flood and hail damage were the major issue in Kentucky and West Tennessee. The wind knocked out power to over half a million households by Sunday morning. A few of the severe wind reports clocked in over 80 mph.

We continue to see many images and videos of flooding in the Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee areas. The flood has tapered off, but the aftermath of the previous day's flooding will continue into next week.

A Levee failed along the Obion River near Rives, TN creating rapid flooding for residents in the area.

You can see first responders going to nearby homes to make sure residents are no longer inside.
