A wide swath of one to two inches of rainfall has fallen across the mid-Atlantic states, which is now quickly on the move through the Interstate 95 corridor of the Northeast. While this weather system is moving quickly, it will drop heavy rainfall rates. Because of that, isolated flooding, or water ponding on low-lying spots, will be possible from Hartford to Providence, Boston, and Bangor.
